Omar Ruiz is an American journalist, reporter and presenter for NFL Network. He was born on September 13, 1978 in Los Angeles, California, USA. Ruiz started his career in journalism as a sports anchor and reporter at news stations in El Paso, Texas and Fresno, California. He also worked as a reporter and anchor for Comcast SportsNet Bay Area, covering the San Francisco 49ers and Oakland Raiders. In 2012, he joined NFL Network as a reporter and has since covered major events such as the Super Bowl, NFL Draft, and Pro Bowl. Ruiz is known for his in-depth reporting and interviews with NFL players and coaches.
